Reuse Day Additional Information:

This webpage provides information regarding the "reuse day program" only.

If you need information on your regular weekly garbage, recycling or yard waste service, please contact your local disposal service company.
If you are a Republic Services customer, please contact them at: 925.685.4711.

Mt. Diablo also does not have the schedule of your "Reuse Days".

Reuse - What Do I Need To Do:

Mt. Diablo Recycling picks up items that are reusable at the curb. The items are then distributed to those in need or sold in thrift stores.

• Place reusable items at the curb by 6 a.m. on your Reuse Day
(please refer to your Reuse and Clean-Up Day Program mailer for your Reuse Day collection date).
• Bag or box small items.
• Please make sure items are dry
(Items not taken for reuse will be tagged and left at the curb for your Clean-Up Day).

Reuse - Where Do These Items Go:

Most items go to a variety of charities and non-profits in local communities.
